The rich and poor have this in common:
The Lord made them both.
Proverbs 22:2
We aren't better than anyone rich or poor.
Our clothes don't matter, our cars don't matter.
Our makeup doesn't matter, our haircut or hair products don't matter.
Our jewelry and accessories do not matter.
Our house doesn't matter.
Our education and jobs don't matter.
Whoever you are, wherever you live, wherever you work, however you look, whatever you wear, whatever you drive, it just doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter to God and it shouldn't matter to anyone else.
We are all made in God's image. We are all His children.
He loves us equally. Don't get caught up in thinking you are "all that" because of a car you drive, a house you live in, some clothes you put on or the job you have.
It could all be gone tomorrow and then wouldn't you want to know that those things don't determine your value?
Your value is based solely on what God says about you, not on any of these other things.
God values every human being and wants a relationship with each one.
God is not interested in things, God is interested in our hearts and knowing us.
