WISDOM COMES FROM GOD...
A "weak day" is when we don't believe we have purpose or value.
God's truth says WE ARE VALUABLE and OUR LIVES HAVE MEANING AND PURPOSE.
Our thoughts should line up with a Holy God who made us & has a perfect plan or our life!
DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU THINK!
Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think!
Romans 12:2

How Often Do I Pray For Something?

I have been wondering to myself lately--how many times do I ask you for this God?

How often I have prayed this prayer.

How many times do I walk away from this prayer with a questioning look on my face wondering if you heard me, wondering if you are listening.

It is so difficult to keep praying about something that you feel only God can help you with--that unless He does something--it isn't going to happen.

I was very frustrated the other day and feeling a lot like "is this doing any good?" I began to doubt and wonder if my prayers were just hitting the ceiling. I woke up the next morning with my problem on my mind and thought about it a while and then I remembered the story of the woman and the "unjust" judge. She did get what she wanted through persistence.

I did have this thought though--how many days do you think she walked home so irritated and hacked-off that the judge hadn't done anything?

According to scripture, she went to him a lot, so I am assuming she went home many days discouraged and mad and angry that he hadn't done a thing for her.

Trusting is hard.

Believing is hard.

So, my point is, while we are waiting on God to answer our prayers, even though we are confused that nothing is happening, we have to believe that something will happen and that all those days of waiting are building some kind of character in us and that God's timing is perfect.

It simply called FAITH. Faith is the substance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things NOT SEEN....Hebrew 11:1.

Here is the story,

Luke 18, God Will Help His People

Jesus used this illustration with his disciples to show them that they need to pray all the time and never give up. He said, “In a city there was a judge who didn’t fear God or respect people. In that city there was also a widow who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice.’ “For a while the judge refused to do anything. But then he thought, ‘This widow really annoys me. Although I don’t fear God or respect people, I’ll have to give her justice. Otherwise, she’ll keep coming to me until she wears me out.’ ”The Lord added,“Pay attention to what the dishonest judge thought. Won’t God give his chosen people justice when they cry out to him for help day and night?
