WISDOM COMES FROM GOD...
A "weak day" is when we don't believe we have purpose or value.
God's truth says WE ARE VALUABLE and OUR LIVES HAVE MEANING AND PURPOSE.
Our thoughts should line up with a Holy God who made us & has a perfect plan or our life!
DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU THINK!
Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think!
Romans 12:2

What is it About FREE You Don't Understand?

One of the biggest misconceptions many people have about Christians is that they don't sin or they "think" they don't sin. People sometimes look at a person who professes to be a Christian and what they usually see is

a lot of human failure.

We are supposed to look at Christ and no one else -
not a pastor, a teacher or anyone we admire because putting others on a pedestal will always get us into trouble.

Once we see a person "screw up" (and you can bet they will) we are devastated or disillusioned and maybe even a little smug that they failed. We may judge them and think something like "I thought they were supposed to be a Christian".

We want mercy and grace for our failures but we are reluctant to extend it to others.
We are all just people with lots of faults.

The only difference between a Christ follower and a non-believer is a believer sees Christ as their savior, the one who rescued them from their sin.

A Christ follower knows they can't do it on their own, so they choose to trust Christ's sacrifice to cover their sin, they choose to accept something free from God, something they didn't earn and never could.

And that is why it is so difficult to grasp.

We want it to be hard and it isn't, it is so simple, we trip over it.

We want to work for it but we can't!
If we could work for it, then we can act like we earned it and feel worthy of it.
Yet our worthiness is placed on us by God while we were still sinners. Imagine that?

We can never work hard enough or ever be good enough to measure up to a Holy God because the gap between our sin and God is just too great. That is why He sent His son, Jesus. His sacrifice on the cross is the bridge connects us back to God.
