WISDOM COMES FROM GOD...
A "weak day" is when we don't believe we have purpose or value.
God's truth says WE ARE VALUABLE and OUR LIVES HAVE MEANING AND PURPOSE.
Our thoughts should line up with a Holy God who made us & has a perfect plan or our life!
DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU THINK!
Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think!

Fighting and Quarreling

For Wives (and Husbands)

Proverbs is very clear that being with a wife who likes to fight is pretty awful. It says four times in Proverbs that anything really annoying or uncomfortable is better than a wife who likes to quarrel. And it compares being with a woman like that to something that will drive you crazy and want to get away from....like a constant dripping.

A constant dripping just drives you nuts!

Who wants to be thought of like that?

It’s better to live alone in the corner of an attic than with a quarrelsome wife in a lovely home…ouch!

Have you been in your attic lately? (I have because I had to up there for Christmas decorations) it was freezing and dark and I couldn’t wait to leave. But Proverbs says it's better to be up there in the attic than with a quarrelsome wife. Then later in another verse it says to try and stop her complaining is like trying to stop the wind or holding on to something with greasy hands. Both of those things are impossible to do.

So if the guy you are married to can't stop your complaining, who or what can? WE can.

Another scripture I found in Proverbs says an angry person starts fights. So, it looks like our ANGER is what causes all this dripping. Get rid of your anger. Figure out what you are angry about and get rid of it...then you won't drip or wreak of stuff people want to get away from...and I know this is talking about a wife but the same goes for a husband, doesn't it?

This is what Proverbs says about fighting and quarreling and anger....

Proverbs 27:15-16 says....a quarrelsome wife is as annoying as constant dripping. Stopping her complaints is like trying to stop the wind or trying to hold something with greased hands.

Proverbs 29:22 says...angry person starts fights...

Twice in Proverbs!!!
Proverbs 21:9 (NLT) says...
It’s better to live alone in the corner of an attic than with a quarrelsome wife in a lovely home.

Proverbs 25:24 (NLT) says...It’s better to live alone in the corner of an attic
than with a quarrelsome wife in a lovely home.
