Hellooo, it's the holidays...
I gotta say this. I am getting older, I am aware that there will always be little uprisings every now and then, but let's talk about a peaceful holiday. When you pay for a "feast", cook the "feast", clean up after the "feast", work hard to decorate the "castle", clean the "castle", buy the presents, wrap the presents, pay in December and January for all of this and then have to experience the strife that "one" person creates.....well, let's just say I am really glad this scripture below is in the Bible and I wholeheartedly agree! He wants us to have peace, He wants us to have a good time!
I think this Proverb says it all and that is what I am going to do this year.
I encourage you to do all of the above and then invite the people who love and appreciate you! Nothing wrong with that!

Here is the scripture I am referring to......I like to read it in several translations. It is Proverbs 17:1
Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict.
New Living Translation
A dry crust of bread eaten in peace and quiet
is better than a feast eaten where everyone argues.
Contemporary English Version
Better to eat a dry crust of bread with peace of mind than have a banquet in a house full of trouble.
Good News Translation
Better a dry crust with peace than a house full of feasting with strife.
