WISDOM COMES FROM GOD...
A "weak day" is when we don't believe we have purpose or value.
God's truth says WE ARE VALUABLE and OUR LIVES HAVE MEANING AND PURPOSE.
Our thoughts should line up with a Holy God who made us & has a perfect plan or our life!
DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU THINK!
Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think!
Romans 12:2

Humility

Definition of Humility
A modest or low view of one's own importance; humbleness.

Who are you? Who am I? Are you super important? Am I? Yes to both...but not better.

We have to remind ourselves that we are God's people--He values us, loves us and has a plan for our lives.

However, if we go around thinking we are "better" than others based on our looks, our clothes, our dress size, our job, the car we drive, or anything else you can think of (and I can think of lots of things that cause people to "think" they are better than others) then we have fooled ourselves.

If I believe this way, it's only in my head and I am believing a lie, because it is not true. God sees us all the same. God loves us all the same. God loves the beggar the same as he loves the dignitary. Dressed in rags or dressed to the hilt--it is no difference in God's eyes. Driving a clunker, riding a bike, walking or being driven around in a limo....living under a bridge, an old shack or a beautiful home with all the furnishings....it is no difference to God.

The Lord doesn't see things
the way you see them.
People judge by outward appearance,
but the Lord looks at the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7

We must not think we are more important than we are.

Humility is seeing ourselves the same as everyone else, seeing ourselves through God's eyes with value.

When we see the homeless person on the street, we need to remind ourselves they are just as important and have equal value. He or she may not be living as good as you and me, but their lives are equally as important, equally as valuable.

Do you know how it feels to be around "important people"? and feel the snobbery or the inferiority? You want to scream, I am just as good as you or if we have really low esteem, we may truly feel they really are better than us.

The truth is God loves us each on the same and values each of us. He has a plan for each of our lives and receives great pleasure from us, His creation.

We should not do that in our hearts with anyone, no matter who they are. We must always remind ourselves that God loves that person as much as He does me and we also must remind ourselves that God values me as much as He does that snob that is trying to make me feel inferior.

The sooner I realize this, the wiser I will be. This is true for every single person I meet every single day!
