Correction

Definition of Correction 

A change that rectifies an error or inaccuracy.

If you pay attention when you are corrected, you are wise. If you refuse to learn, you are hurting yourself. If you accept correction, you will become wiser.

Proverbs 15:31-32

None of us have arrived. None of us are completely grown up or as mature as we need to be.

I have a friend who is divorced. I am married. We talk a lot.

Our issues are completely different.

We talk about her struggles and sometimes she says, "I am just so messed up!". But it isn't true. She is seeking her path and it is hard to find being a single mom raising teenagers.

I am seeking my path too, they just look different to each of one of us.

The other day she asked me to pray about a struggle in her life. 

The very next day, I was struggling in a big way with something completely different and I asked her to pray for me.

Her advice to me was good and I listened. I hope my advice to her was good too!

We help each other. We need each other.

No matter who or where we are in our life, we will always face struggles and economics has nothing to do with it.

Struggle comes to us all.

That's why it is good to love people wherever they are and not judge them based on what you see.

We are all people who need each other.

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.

Galations 6:1

"Every Christian, including you, is both a disciple and a discipler in the context of his Christian relationships. You have the awesome privilege and responsibility both to be a teacher and a learner of what it means to be in Christ....
Similarly, every Christian is both a counselor and counselee in the context of his Christian relationships. A good counselor should be a good discipler, and a good discipler should be a good counselor.... There will never be a day when we don't need each other."
