When we are young, our parents have an opportunity to affirm and love us unconditionally and to help us understand our value and know we are loved regardless of our performance. That is the time for us to discover our self-worth and value. We need to know that we have value for who we are and not because of what we do. If for whatever reason that doesn't happen when we become adults, we will doubt our self-worth, we will doubt whether we are making right choices. We will doubt all the positive things about ourselves and we will have a tendency to agree with all the negative thoughts in our head that tell us we just aren't any good. We will wonder why should God love us? And then we will answer those voices in our head by telling ourselves He shouldn't and He doesn't.
We as believers all struggle with different things. If this happens to be your thing, the answer is fighting back with the truth.
We can go through our lives listening to all of this condemnation and believing lies or we can believe the truth of what God says about us (even if we don't feel anything) Feelings can be dangerous.
We have to to fight this mental and spiritual battle with truth regardless of how we feel, regardless of all the emotions that are counter to the truth.
The truth is not based upon what is in our head.
It is based upon what God says and not how we feel.
What if you were an orphan your whole life and discovered at the end of your life that you had a biological family that had been looking for you all this time and you weren't aware of it? When you found out, you would grieve for how your life could have been. You would grieve for the family you missed out on. You would grieve for having believed all those lies that nobody cared for you. God is our true father and we belong in His family. He adopted us when we became a believer.
This is what is going on....It is based upon what God says and not how we feel.
What if you were an orphan your whole life and discovered at the end of your life that you had a biological family that had been looking for you all this time and you weren't aware of it? The truth is the truth.
KLOf all the lies you hear everyday, the worst are ones you tell yourself...remember, don't believe everything you think!
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Fight these unseen enemies everyday;
fight them every minute if you have to with the truth of God's word.

God loves us and the truth will set us free.
He does have a plan for our life ----whether we believe it or not.
Ephesians 6:10-17
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
